I think its easy for us here in the states to underestimate the psychological impact of SARS in China and Taiwan. It is not difficult to imagine NVLS customers in those areas deferring big capex commitments until they have some reassurance that there will not be a SARS-induced economic meltdown. Its not the logistics of meetings and such, its the impact on confidence. That goes far beyond normal prudent behavior, I think. But this is hopefully a temporary phenomena -- at least until next winter -- gulp. My main take-away was that we are seeing more signs that demand is growing, and more confirmation that Novellus is very well positioned to benefit from the cycle turn when it comes.
