Brother Bum,

Thanks for the info. I leave for Boston today and I've sold all my energy stocks except the IPP's. I didn't want to be too exposed to the market while I was away. I was nearly 100% invested and now back to under 50% invested until I get back.

I noticed large block shares going off at the bid on RDC late yesterday. It looks like the institutions are starting to liquidate that one. Today should provide a better picture.

Selling pressure is rising in the OSX but I'm not sure if it's because the OSX reached a long term resistance level (200 week moving average), or it's something else. The next day or two should provide some answers.

Here goes MIR!

Mirant rallies after lenders extend loan waiver (MIR) By Tomi Kilgore

Mirant (MIR) is rallying 16 cents, or 4.7 percent, to $3.53 in pre-open trading after it said its lenders have extended the original loan waiver agreement to July 14, 2003. The extension also includes a provision that limits future use of letters of credit to existing beneficiaries. The power producer added that "confidential discussions" with its creditors regarding a financial restructuring continue.
