A new Adins folder was created and still get the error message saying that wfoladn.dll is not a valid Microsoft add-in.

Now I am not sure what to do next. I wonder if there could be a registry entry somewhere that is causing this?

This problem doesen't affect functionality and if I have to can live with it, since all I have to do is just click on the error message and continue working. It's more of a nuisance than anything else.

If you integrated the program in to the shell and you found the file yourself you could right click on the file and select "delete on next boot".

Or you could try booting in to safe mode or DOS and deleting it.
