I said Google at the bottom of my post. I think Google is a burr in the side of the options expensing movement. If there were no superstar pre-IPO company on the horizon it would be easier to ignore that options expensing doesn't work for startups and companies within a year of IPO. It was just luck for the anti-options expensing crowd that Google came along, after all it is the most highly anticipated IPO in 5 years.

Thanks for the link, I'll listen, looks like it is a quicktime file. I can't listen now, I wonder who the 20 participants were if there were only a few FASB and a few senators? All the rest were industry people? This must have been the forum where the FASB said they were "unmoved".
