it is a circle... had a good friend in private school parents alcoholic.. they could care less if he went to school. I used to stop bye and wake him up ... nuns expelled him.. pissed me off... the rest of the class didn't need nuns to help they had parents who cared.. I figure they are supposed to be dedicated to serving and they dump the problem rather than taking it as a challenge.. they could have taken him to the convent for tutoring, had other kids work with him in the class... He was such a nice guy and of course he went to public school got in with wrong crowd and you all know the rest.... Somewhere we need to catch these type kids in our system. It certainly gets more costly later on to catch them. ps no more nuns and school closed. g
