There is nothing wrong with society giving a helping hand to it's most needy members. What some people want to do is make sure that it doesn't get out of hand like it did in the 60s ever again.

There is also nothing wrong with public scrutiny or questioning of and participation in how our tax dollars are being spent. For too long most of us trusted they were being spent wisely.

$600.00 socket wrenches the projects of NYC and Detroit, and perpetual baby making machines for another $250.00 a month opened our eyes.

Never again....

The future is a government banned from supporting the failures of society, while getting out of the way of the private entities who SCREEN and help the unfortunate.

The transfer of stolen wealth from the thieving, unproductive public sector back to the private sector-and the resulting elimination of bureaucrats who soak up the resources targeted for the needy-is the future of the so-called "safety net". It is all that will be tolerated (and, most likely, heavily supported) by a newly-diligent public. The old Lyndon Johnson fraud-"If we could beat Germany and Japan, and land a man on the moon, we should be able to fight a "War on Poverty."-has long since been exposed as a political scam, and is FINALLY on its way out...
