Joe,
Tell the boys back on the SI board of course Marconi is still in business. About 17 months ago they signed a contract with Verizon for Verizon's FTTH build out.

Marconi Solution Used by Verizon to Deliver Light-Speed Communication Services to Northern Virginia Community
Fiber-to-the-Home Trial Delivers Voice, High-Speed Data and Video Services

Pittsburgh, PA – 1/22/02–Marconi (London and Nasdaq: MONI), a global provider of innovative communications solutions, announced today that Verizon will deploy a Marconi solution to provide high-speed, fiber optic delivery of voice, Internet and entertainment services to residents of the community of Brambleton, Virginia. Verizon's fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) trial network is expected to serve homes in the first phase of the development in Brambleton.

JJS Question
I thought I read somewhere that as part of their reorganization that Marconi had closed the Division that was involved with FTTH. Anybody shed light on Marconi's current involvement with FTTH (real question is is Marconi still a customer of MRVC for MRVC's FTTH products).
