Is a left-wing British newspaper "reliable"? Well, Jacob...you probably answered your own question....Remember the socialist left in Britian tried to keep Saddam in power, and didn't want Blair to involve Britian in the war... This paper most probably is one of those that supported Saddam as well.

So No....if FL doesn't allow worldnetdaily here, then commondreams and others of the ilk that support Ramsey Clark and group, shouldn't be allowed on FADG either.

<<<<Using the low end of the range, for both civilian and military casualties, is where I get my total 20,000
deaths. It's a guess, a crude approximation. If you use the 10% death rate for military units, you get
about 50,000 dead total. We'll never know exactly. And, apparently, we don't much care.>>

Baghdad Bob would be responsible for some of those, saying we were still far away from town.
. Cannnot say the civilians were not well warned, before and after the action. Inspectors and Embassy occupants left the country, millions of leaflets dropped, radio warnings, voices from helicopters.
Those who chose to stay in town were told to stay in their homes, but some gathered in marketplaces or drove around town during the raids.
.With all the deserters, would be hard to tell if a casualty was civilian or a soldier in civilian clothes. How many were shot by their own officers while deserting ?
Some people chose to live dangerously. Reporters, race car drivers, and those who peer into bomb craters while more are coming down.
What tally goes down in the history books as the civilian toll will be a guess at best. Eastern version, or Western version ?
