That's fine. And I assume you would not have defended them in your previous post if you thought there might be some question. But it's hardly in dispute that the National Review has an agenda on this issue and thus the numbers should be checked carefully. Since the National Review has been for many years well to the right of the mainstream Republican Party, it's credentials on that score can hardly be debated. And, though I'm not a regular reader, I suspect their credentials as advocates of vouchers to undermine public schools are not in dispute. Thus, numbers they use can be considered suspect. Not wrong; just suspect.

I'm under no onus to come up with different numbers. I didn't advance any in the first place. Just advanced the obvious suspicions. It made sense for me to embroidery the suspicion. I have done so.
