well, i haven't seen an IMAX movie yet, but i was watching an interview with James Cameron(Titantic director) about his latest movie...is it Ghost of the Abyss? and he is absolutely enthralled with 3D and said he wants to make some big Hollywood Blockbusters in 3D...so maybe you are onto something....
