I am not denying that the WMDs mattered, I am denying that imminent risk of use was the issue. Eventual certainty of use is more like it. As for the Al Qaida connection, it has been shown that an alliance was sought, although it is not clear how far it had progressed. Besides, Al Qaida is not the only game in town, there are other terrorists to do business with.......
