LB, do you think we are doing a better job than the UN searching and securing WMD in Iraq? Do you approve of the way we handled the sealed nuclear waste storage sites?

KL, the only thing I know for sure about what is going on in Iraq is that we don't know what the hell is going on. 90% of the reports we read and see are done by people who were against the war. The normal report you look for as an editor is bad news. These two factors really influence the reporting.

I blame anything that went wrong on the sites on Saddam, as I blame the rest of our problems. We are cleaning up his mess. The attitude seems to be to expect perfection out of a rough and ready situation.

The people here and around the country see Iraq as either a half full or half empty situation, depending on where they were when we started this liberation.
