Seems to me like the US receives constant criticism for "outside interference". Isn't that what all the brouhaha about the Iraq war really was?

You can't logically have it both ways. Who decides when "outside interference" is needed? And why them? Any answer you come up with is subject to criticism.

If the US was entitled to interfere in the Iranian Revolution, then why not the Russian or Chinese Revolutions too? They resulted in far more deaths.

(And, yes, I'm aware the US DID interfere in the Russian Revolution. But maybe we should have interfered harder.)
