I'm not sure, but I'm getting the sense that Bush may be instoppable in '04. Partially because the Dems don't have anybody to run against him; out of nine candidates not one has an original thought in his head. I think America has seen the liberal view of healthcare and didn't like what it saw. I think 9/11 left a more lasting impression than the liberals want to admit, and Bush's handling of it did, too. And in spite of the chronic howling on the parts of liberals, Americans generally support the war in Iraq which most of these guys opposed. Now, there is talk the economy is turning around, so they won't have THAT to batter him with.

Dick Morris made an interesting observation tonight. He says Bill and Hillary actually WANT Bush to win in '04. Otherwise, SHE can't run until '12. I think that makes a lot of sense. Who knows, with Clintons on his side, Bush may take about 85% of the vote...
