Thanks for the nice "Hi".. :) I like pottery, tile, etc.. so much.. I even take pictures of it when we travel. To get ideas.... I think I mentioned last year, I started making my own tiles.. outdoor type stuff.. Not nice and refined, but rough but still artistic squares of a SW bent.... Mary loves the fine works like you are doing though.. She says to me.. "keep your horses, coyotes, stags, arrows, feathers, etc.. outside".. Not really.. :) But waiting.. for anyone, anything, is always a mystery.. and until, in this case, you get your work back fired, a person wonders.... But that is the thrill. But never fear because almost all of the time it is a positive . :).. And so We just got back from the kickoff of our weekend.. We just had six hours on the track (most of the time, anyway) for the "Relay for Life" of the American Cancer Society.. It was a nice time, but still touching at times. With hundreds, maybe up to a thousand or so luminarias lining a quarter mile track.. That were lit at 9:00 pm our time. What a sight with maybe 500 people running and walking.. A high school girl was RUNING her 13th mile when we left. I ran a bunch myself.. Some great music too.. From Taiku drumming to rock n' roll.. A great mix of people, all with such an up-attitude.. Our team was called the "Dream Catchers".. I named it, I say that with, not with a little pride, but a lot. :).. We really liked the Taiku and may go try it out. There was a nice invite... We are now casually involved with drum circles.. But Taiku had so much energy..So much happy, positive energy.. At least from tonight's performance.. Next weekend, our dear friends from the Bay area are coming over for the Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo exhibit.. And they are into drum circles, besides art.. So they are bringing their drums... They want to fit me with the right drum.. :) I can't wait.. There is so much positive energy here right now, I can't believe it.. So I am so up right now.. I never stay up this late but I am.... A natural high.. But I better quit.. And go to bed.. Thank you again for the nice note and I am sure you can "uncross your fingers".. Your works will be beautiful.. m
