Our Government is the most transparent of any I know. I would trust it over any international body I can think of.

The question was not whether you would trust our government more than you would trust an international body, but whether you would presumptively trust the government in any event. To be more specific: Ken Pollock, who is said to know a thing or two about it, said during the runup to the war that Iraq posed no immediate threat, and that the move to war was taken more hastily than it needed to be. The administration disagreed, and I recall that you did too. Would you trust the administration more than Pollock? If so, why?

Civil Servants think their first job is to lie to the public. That is why you have to "throw the rascals out" every so often.

I’m curious: when do you think it would be a good time to throw the current batch of rascals out?
