As for the charges about Dowd and the Kissinger charge, the right wing is doing itself no good. Raines' Political beliefs are no secret. And, after exchanging posts with you since 2001, I think we both know where each other are. Nothing will come of the Kissinger reversal, but the Dowd column is so obvious that I am amazed she was arrogant enough to think it would pass unnoticed. I am sure she will be put on the carpet for it privately. They should print a correction, but they may pass. If they do, it makes them look bad, not their critics.
