It's overcast here, which is about as bad as it can get.

No, scratch that. My first full day after I moved to California was a very rainy day. I was beginning to think the promise of sunshine was a scam!


The overcast you refer to is what's called June gloom.....a traditional spring like pattern of the weather and is caused by the desert heat pulling in the coastal fog. It usually abates near the end of June.

As for the rain, its no scam......you shouldn't see rain again until Oct/Nov.
