MARS - this next statement of yours is where you do greatly err. And in fact the reason why I can say you will likely die in your sins: I am able to mingle freely with Christians, Jews, Moslems or Hindus ...as I see a part of truth in all of them I see some truth in all religions but only the whole truth in Christianity (As prescribed in scripture not creeds or churches who do always err) Jesus said plainly that HE was the way the truth and the life. You may insist that it is not exclusive but the following proves it to be: John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. No one outside of Christ is saved. 1 John 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. Christ is the only provision God has made for sin. You have philosophy but you do not HAVE Christ. Not to say that you "mingle freely" with all religious men. That is fine - I also "mingle freely" but I do not have fellowship. In fact I do not have fellowship with many who say they are Christians. They have decided to make me their enemy. Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed? This verse does not mean that they must agree at all points. I disagree with many points most Christians believe but I can still fellowship insincerity if they are willing to look at scripture alone - if not they usually become as non-Christians to me and talk about the weather. Now it is not possible MARS to hold that both Islam and Christianity are valid forms of religion. Disagreeing is a human trait caused by the fall and imperfect knowledge and understanding but disagreeing about WHO CHRIST IS is not up for grabs or something where we can allow toleration. EXCEPT YOU BELIEVE I AM You have often referred to Christ as a confused individual who merely copied other philosophers. It appears that all your learning has done nothing for you spiritually. 2 Timothy 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Promise of hell to all Christians Koran 5:75 They do blaspheme who say: "Allah is Christ the son of Mary." But said Christ: "O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord" Whoever joins other gods with Allah, —Allah will forbid him the Garden, and the Fire will be his abode. There will for the wrongdoers be no one to help. Now Mars - when a religions speak exact opposites concerning the belief in Christ as the Eternal God made Man there can not be much 'learned' from studying both except that one of them must be wrong. True Christianity says this John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Either Islam or Christianity is not of God being false. Please pick a side and not try to be so "lovingly" wrong. Brian
