joser- btw, you might not realize it, but you made a pretty good start on a log. you write a mean captain's log yers elf. that was a great accounting of your trip to saltspring. i enjoyed the hell out of it. i made a lot of notes on my journey... some everyday... i can't write about it yet because... 1) i'm too busy with catch up stuff right now... and 2) a lot of the experiences of the trip are still happening inside me - this was more than a vacation, it was an odyssey. 3) if i do write it, a smattering won't do it justice. i'd need a month of sundays... that's 30 sundays! for now i'll just say it was an "epic journey" with some poignant piña coladas along the way. <g> i'll have some pictures soon. didja take the minolta to saltspring? -ruffian
