Sidney, since you brought it up....Didn't Waco happen under the command of the highly qualified Janet Reno? Ruby Ridge as well, I believe. I haven't seen those jackboot tactics at all under Bush. I was appalled by the whole Waco deal. They could have arrested that guy at a gun show or something, instead they tried marching in like wannabe soldiers. Perhaps this was a result of the popularity of the COPS type shows back then, I don't know. Then after getting shot to sh1t, they retreated and couldn't figure out a solution that would allow them to save face. The rest is history. Terrorism is a real threat bro, less than 2 years and people like you are already forgetting how we all felt that day. At 10:00 AM that day , as a country we sat there, getting our azzes kicked waiting for the next hit. I live 20 miles from NYC, I was rounding up my wife and kids, while the skyline filled with smoke. It wasn't a TV show for me. Al Queda has always worked in 2 to 4 year time spans. I hope they are stamped out, but who knows. A nuke is a very permanent thing, we are not talking about David Koresh running a cult. The fact that guys like you are now minimizing what happened on 9/11 may even signal that we are due for another taste of it.
