This isn't in response to the cigarette post, rather is it a comment I heard on an early morning radio program that the President said he "Wasn't MAD at France " I thought this use of the word MAD totally inappropriate and wonder how some of you feel. I can see MAD DOG, MAD COW DISEASE but Mad in reference to his earlier stand against all things FRENCH which initiated the good AMERICANS from drinking French wine,eating French Cheese ( I had some friends who did this much to my amusement ) and today's commentator said he thought now we could go back to eating and drinking French imports again..... To me, his off the cuff remarks are so incipiently STUPID... An intellectual he is not. I wonder about his mentality..seriously. COMMENTS APPRECIATED. Suma
