Whatever else it suggests, this certainly suggests that things haven't tightened up at the Times just yet.


The NYT has got by for years with little or no outside fact checking. Those days are gone forever. They are not used to the heat. And they won't like it. I still think more shoes will drop. I am sure there are other reporters who are going to get nailed. This will just add the mess all the way around.
