Yes.

It seems weird to say this, but long term rates will probably rise in the event of a rate cut - this is kind of like a game of chess, having the ability to threaten a rate cut is more important at this stage than actually performing the rate cut itself.

EUR buying opportunity is coming up; now it trades at 1.1710 in thin markets, off 2 cents from last weeks highs, I have no doubt that it will recover. It is entirely impossible that the EUR rallye just stops here.
