US soldier, two Iraqis killed in Baghdad attack: Al-Jazeera (Updated at 2155 PST) DOHA: One US soldier and two Iraqis were killed Sunday in a grenade attack on an American tank in central Baghdad, Qatar's Al-Jazeera satellite television said. A correspondent for the news channel at the scene of the attack in al-Azamiya district quoted witnesses as saying that the soldier was killed in the grenade attack and the two Iraqi passers-by in an ensuing shootout between the troops and the assailants. Two other US soldiers were wounded in the same assault near Abu Hanifa mosque in the neighborhood, according to Al-Jazeera, which gave no clue to the identity of the attackers.
