What IS straightforwardly apparent is the complete failure of your attempt to comprehend the most basic fundamentals of economics, history, and the era into which you have accidentally been born. Bobdole's Disease takes over in a slow, gradual way, but is ultimately unstoppable...

Neocom,

I do not believe that you are correct. While the Swiss may have a per capita GDP higher than most states in Western Europe, the Swedes do not. The per capita GDP of Switzerland was $31,700 (in 2002 according to the CIA) - Sweden its $25,400.

It is significant - as DavesM has effectively pointed out - that the GDP of the "most capitalist" of the two, Switzerland, is apparently 25% higher the "most socialist" of the two. While reality, as Tom has pointed out(and which might be construed as in agreement with you), may vary according to circumstance, I tell you that what is straightforwardly apparent after a little digging, is that freedom works whether considering advantaged or disadvantaged places. I think you are hard pressed to find suitable examples to support the implication of your last post.
