Re: FBI terrorist investigations -- Actually, I believe the FBI was doing a credible job prior to 9/11 at the field level. Various reasons have been given for this. I've read em and they don't add up. I've been able to pretty well decide which of the conspiracy theorists are skirting on the edge. The ones I've provided above are extremely scrupulous about using bona fide and verifiable sources for their research. There are others, such as Alex Jones at Prison Planet.com that make a compelling case, but are more will to be like the Bushies and use far fetched single sourced information in reaching conclusions. I'm extremely disappointed to learn that the basis for selling the Iraqi war was some very flimsy information from questionable sources inside the exile community.
