mmmary, click-through ad rates are a sucker bet. On average, they pay more poorly than CPM ads.

CPM advertisers don't want to pay for auto-refreshes, though. The commercial ad networks have ways of filtering these out.

I'm not surprised that their click-through rates are much lower than the average. Not something that I expect is specific to iHub. This is typical of message-board sites, particularly if advertising appears on every message page.

Highest click-through rates would be for a one-page site. :)

Not only did he not get rid of it, but it's now on si.

I didn't get rid of it on iHub? Sure thought I did. I suppose it's possible it showed back up at ValueClick under a new campaign name, but I did about 100 pageviews at iHub this morning as a freebie and never saw that ad.

Contrary to your statement and the disingenuousness it implies, I did make the efforts to get rid of it and believe I was successful.
