Ish, Of course I was talking about only the bad eggs that seem to get the most attention. Yes, there are a lot of good kids that are intent on learning, and most have parents that will do anything to help. IMO, schools have lost their impetus to make teaching kids their primary goal because the teachers are now controlled by the NEA, and if they don't knuckle under to the union, they could lose their jobs. They want more money for less work. A good teacher should be paid a good salary, and be totally respected by the community, but they are being lumped in with those that are dragging their feet.
