Residential tax rate is about 1% for most of Boston's suburbs. Properties are re-evaluated every year based on fair market value.


Yep. that's what our nominal rate is here in CA...about 1-1.25% plus any voted indebtedness...only the tax stays the same while you own the property, no reappraisals.
