If the economy sucks, it is his fault.

What a crock. Presidents don't control the economy. Business cycles do.

I hate to keep having to repeat this to you guys, but obviously you know nothing about the subject. Perhaps if you would take an introductory course in economics.

The liberals will lie to the gullible American public and try to make it a bad economy. But I think it won't work this time. People realize that our security is what's important, and the notion of having an Al Gore at the helm if another 9/11 occurs scares the living sh*t out of just about everyone.

gw has had his way on everything. His tax cut was reduced in half by republicans

Which means it is one thing he has not had his way one.

If the economy sucks, it is his fault.

If it sucks he'll get blamed but that doesn't mean its his fault. A lot of the economy has nothing to do with the presidents actions. And to the extent that the actions do effect the economy it can sometimes take years to have its full impact. Furthermore the fact that Bush was pushed to not implement his first tax break quickly but to phase it in and had his second tax cut, cut in half, means that there is even a bigger delay and smaller benefits from the tax cut.

None of which will prevent him from taking the political hit if the economy does go down the toilet.
