America's smoke and mirrors campaign is still in high gear and going strong. Now we find out that the daring rescue of POW Jessica was just so much war-time PR ... as reported in the Vancouver Province a few days ago.

The story revealed that the Iraqi soldiers had already left the area and before the so-called "heroic rescue" - the hospital staff tried to deliver Jessica across a nearby bridge to an area held by the Americans. The Americans fired upon the ambulance and they returned back to the hospital. The next day as they were planning to put Jessica in an open cart so the Americans could clearly see Jessica, the soldiers arrived. Hospital staff explained the situation and offered the master keys to the soldiers so they wouldn't kick down the doors. The offer was refused and the soldiers kicked or shot out all the doors.

No shots were fired at them, Jessica was friendly with all of the staff and knew them all by name. Yet to go by the CNN account, it seemed like Jessica was barely conscious and there was some kind of life-threatening battle involved. Rescued her? They were lucky they didn't kill her the day before!

America may not be all that great at telling the Truth, but they sure can stretch it and spin it any which way but loose.

What ever was or not done to her, she wanted to be home. Our guys went in with enough force to flatten any opposition and brought her home from enemy territory. For me, that is the end of the story.
