On this day in 1917 Billy Bishop shot up the german aerodrome well behind the lines, for which action he won the Victoria Cross ..... and also won a fair bit of controversy, a few questions as to the accuracy and adequacy of his report, ahem -g- .... i saw this in a little community paper today, along with the news of the PC convention, pretty sad that ..... they are determined to re-elect the Liberals, looks like eh

NDP swinging to a red Tory party? I guess that's plausible. Heck, even the Alliance got a bunch of ex NDPers that were simply voting against the corporate establishment.
