Then he is giving money away to the rich for nothing. 1 - He is not giving money away to the rich. 2 - I said "a lot of the economy has nothing to do with the presidents actions." That doesn't mean the actions of the president have no effect on the economy. In fact in that same post I talked about how they do effect the economy, specifically that they take time, months or years in many cases. Also I would add that the effect of a tax cut phased in over 10 years is delayed by the phase in. Since the actual tax cut so far has been very tiny its effects are easily swamped by other factors.
