the above actually traces to ripe.net, which is based in the Netherlands... so I'm not "completly" sure if it has Nigerian origins.

ripe.net is like Internic for Euroland (Réseaux IP Européens), and has its own whois service which you could use to further trace the sender of your proposition.

Lots of the Lads from Lagos apparently have associates in London and Amsterdam, so it would not be unusual to find 419 spam originating from Euro ISP's.

I like the author's use of alliteration - a very viable venture - it's almost as if she has a viable vision (g).
