I sold my Verzion and my Sprint PCS recently. I only held VZ for a few months as a trade and I have been in and out of PCS twice in the last year. I wouldn't hold any wireless operating company long term. They all offer pretty much identical services and compete mainly on price. Competing on price erodes away profit margins. With number portability coming, companies with high ARPU business customers are going to be severly hurt. A major impediment to business customers trying out and migrating to cheaper services will be gone. A lot of companies are going to try and tempt away Nextel's high ARPU business clients once they have push to talk and number portability. Average ARPU's will continue to fall as firms try and raid each others high ARPU customers in price wars. JMO.
