Digital who? Ever hear of twenex? Used to run a Dec2020 on twenex. ratfor raton. Those where the days. Computing was 2000 line programs and everybody understood the code.

I don't think the PC or Micorgates has a future. One of these days the last person who does not have CTS will slowly tap out the last few sentences on the Internet. I-T H-A-S B-E-E-N F-U-N. I W-I-L-L T-U-R-N O-U-T T-H-E L-I-G-H-T-S. (He was working on one of the few PC's that still worked. After the fall, when they found a disgruntled employee at IntelBell had programmed a burn-out circuit in 2.8324 X 10^ 17 cycles in all the post Pentium chipes and induced AMD and Cyrix to copy the improved code only a few 386-25 holdouts could still compute. Gradually the internetski burnt out. I was down to a few thousand apples and the odd atari amiga. Then they too had their predictable maintenance problems and there was nothing to trade up or down to that would run trumpet winsock. Everything else had been junked. There was a Linux work around that kept a few die hards alive in terminal mode, but soon it was overtaken by the winking out of subtractor cells. As fast as the linux code could bypass the failing math routines, new glitches would appear. It was like FOOF X 1 million.

She's dead Jim. we may be stuck in 3 dimensional hell with a crazed Wookie forever.

I think we have to go to personal wearable computers that only interconnect thru each other. I mean no hubs or craplike that. Just enough radios running on SS that it spreads around the world. FTI. LLTI.
