The whole case was built on lies, puffed up and/or selective evidence. Especially the whole nuclear threat, "undisputed evidence"...where is that evidence now? Where are all of those stockpiles of bioweapons?

It was all about getting our troops new bases outside of Saudi Arabia and controlling oil supplies. Saddam's abilities were way overstated on purpose. And if it was about liberation, there are many millions of people waiting for us to show up and liberate them in many other places on this globe. But, they better have oil.

fact: Al-Samouds were held in violation of UNSCR.
true.

fact: Biolabs just as Powell described them have been found
true, maybe. They also said they were never used.

fact: The link to Al-Quaeda has been demonstrated
This is a very thin link....very thin. They may have been operating in Northern Iraq because it was a no man's land, close to Iran.

fact: The link to international terrorism has been confirmed.
very broad brush stroke here...

The nuclear threat that we heard so much about? bs
Tons & tons of bioweapons? bs

It was all selective intelligence to build a case for a decision made years ago.

We can agree to disagree, I'm sure that is about all we will agree on.

Cheers...off to meetings.
