Do some research, educate yourself in the fine art of gracious conversation. Take a clue from how most people on this site treat each other - with respect - and try practicing it.

Jon, of course I don't understand it. Unlike some people, I *am* ignorant of many things. Was just asking for a quick assist.

I don't think I can quite spend a few days right now just reading a book. Seems an inefficient way to deal with a comparatively minor thing on the site.
