I thought about bold for the butterscotch letters, but it looks like it could crowd the "SI guys" (actually, two guys and a gal, isn't it?) too much. I can try it, though. I agree that it's too "thin".

I'm assuming Bill's doing up a different version of the "Silicon Investor" logo to work with the gray background.

I'm not going to mess around with the stuff anymore tonight, but know that tomorrow I'll be able to set aside a few minutes to really get in there and change the header.

I'm also a bit curious to see what impact it might have on performance (likely minor) to host that image locally rather than from Seattle as it is now.

Of course, there are those with fat pipes to the internet who disable caching who'll probably send my bandwidth utilization through the roof. <g>
