High taxes in Europe are a myth. "Taxes on income and profits as percentage of GDP" were 14.2% in the USA and 11.2% in Germany in 1999. For a link to a more detailed report see #reply-18975344

The USD drop also isn't much of a problem for Europe. In May Porsche had the highest car sales in the North America ever, +34% yoy.
