John- This is very interesting, and indeed your clarification resolves my "death of capital" concerns. As for my skepticism, I have learned at a dear price the cost of blind faith over logic. I can't promise that my comments aren't driven by my dislike for the answer. I can promise that I am making a genuine effort to dispassionately evaluate your position.
