In the Spring of 2000, it appeared that a recession was starting to get priced into the market with no significant signs that we were going to see a downturn in growth in the economy.

The market always foresees turns in the economy long before economists or politicans or most other observers do. I'm not saying we're in a sustained recovery, not by any means. I think a lot of the econ projections and earnings estiamtes for the 2nd half of this yr are overly optimistic.

But it could be around the corner.
