Is this irony or are you being serious?

Avg wage 1975: $20K? (just a guess). Cost of police salaries, fire services, teaching etc 1/4 of what it is now has NOTHING to do with the value of a house? Wages have nothing to do with the value of a house? Come on.

Houses are tied to inflation we all know that.
