You're not the last such person on earth. I am. I have NO idea what an oud is, even though I have performed for over 40 years, on both a professional and amateur level, in symphony orchestras, chamber music groups, brass consorts, Blaskepella, concert bands, "big band" groups, and individually. But I never heard of a oud. What on earth is it???
