re: On Friday's NBC Nightly News..

I saw that report and didn't find anything terribly different with that reported by the BBC. Blanks were reported to have been used but they could have been confused with the "flash-bangs" NBC said they used and the Army confirms this. There was essentially no difference in the time the BBC and NBC reported that Iraqi troops pulled out. Both reports said the US guys were told they were gone but it is understandable that they would go in carefully. What NBC didn't do was report on the "amnesia" Jessica is said to be suffering, the fact that she suffered no stabbing or gunshot wounds, that she did not fight until her gun was empty, and that her wounds were trauma wounds. They did not report that an American doctor complimented the Iraqi doctors for the care they gave and for using one of their 3 platinum plates in her leg. NBC did not say whether they attempted an interview with Jessica or her family and they did not mention that the doctor or lawyer who went to the American lines to report her presence in the hospital is now in this country with a new job.
