P/S doesn't mean anything. Are people going to value a company with sales of $1B that loses $500M per year the same as one with sales of $1B that makes $500M per year?

It's about profitability and expectations of profitability.

Having said that, I have no idea how the profitability of those three companies compare (on a PE basis) or what the expectations of profitability are. As a WAG, I would guess that the market expects Dell to generate much more per-share profit than the other two.
