She certainly knew he had been catting around as Governor.

This is obviously both a complicated topic and a heated one. But she or they publicly said she was aware but they had some agreements about his life as a President. He violated that. But some couples make very complicated see and don't see decisions. I think this one was simply more public than others.

I think it was hard for a lot of the people around Clinton to believe that this brilliant man, whom they worked so hard for, and depended on for so much, would be so fantastically dumb as to fall off the wagon while in the Oval Office.
