I guess if there was to be a common theme, it's that we should collectively frown on blowing up buildings. But if George Bush were to announce it, the Marxist/Leninisyt anti-American enemy would become supporters of building bombing, and we'd have to listen to Carville babble about how "Big Building" has Bush in it's pocket.

So better, whenever possible, to leave the building bombers dead in the field, even if they are trying to give up...
