Now if I assault one, we have laws for that already. It seems rather redundant, feel good legislation - typical "There we've done something" liberal crap that gives our lawyers more food at the trough. I'm sure the woman who's father was dragged behind a car for several miles because he was black, and the parents of the guy who got crucified and robbed because he was gay will appreciate your sentiment and be grateful that more money didn't get into the hands of attorneys.
